Grand Arize Motivaffirmation Mixtape Vol. 1 is a work of heart.

Each track is made to uplift and give you a sense of peace. For the first portion of each track, I speak to your heart and spirit, affirming your validity and worth; the second portion is created to give you the space to affirm these things for yourself.

I've decided to make the album free for on site listening for those that may not have the means to hear it otherwise. Although, if you have the capacity to make a monetary contribution, it is humbly and greatly appreciated.

Arize Alarm app is born out of a personal need when I was in one of the darkest, most desperate points in my life.For years I lived what I call a 'functional depression', on the outside I seemed ok, but internally I was lost. After deciding enough was enough I set out to make a change.

I decided I would wake up every morning at 5 A.M. to write a poetry book that I would dedicate to those who were familiar with struggle. But, nearly everyday I would oversleep and once I DID wake up, I was consumed by the unrelenting thoughts of past troubles and the imagined troubles of the future. My thoughts were robbing me of my power, joy and purpose of helping others with my message.

One late morning I had an epiphany and said to myself that there should be an alarm clock that has no snooze feature + wakes you up with a motivational message; seeing that the app did not exist, I asked myself the quintessential leap-of-faith question: Why not me? One year later, here we are. My first major offering of service to the world.

I hope that my work touches someone and serves to be a light in their life. That's my aim. To help others wake up their power within. I humbly thank you for your support.

Update on app development: I am gearing up for a crowdfunding campaign. Why? Because it is the people - you, me - who will build, create and support the individuals, the organizations, the movements, which propel humanity forward. Authentically. I hope you'll stand with me. LOVE
